Read MoreAli A. Akhtar has been a full-time practicing lawyer in Austin and the surrounding cities (in Travis County, Williamson County, Hays County, and Bastrop County) since 2000. His practice areas include: fighting for individuals in serious personal injury cases; helping consumers deal with insurance and warranty claims, bad business practices, or landlord-tenant issues; and, assisting businesses with incorporations, LLC's, contracts, collections, commercial disputes, copyrights, and trademarks.
You have plenty of good lawyers out there to choose from. What makes us unique is a combination of the following:
I am responsible for communicating with clients and answering their questions, not routing them to an assistant. I do not “mass market” or carry a high caseload. New clients come to me mostly by word-of-mouth. At the Akhtar Law Firm, you’ll be hiring and working with me.
There are lawyers who advertise how "tough" they are, but have never taken a case to trial! Before hiring an attorney, ask what cases he or she has actually taken to court. Real trial experience makes my recommendations to my clients valuable, regarding the pros and cons of their case.
I have worked at one of the largest law firms in Texas, with national offices, serving big corporations. I have also worked at a two-lawyer firm, representing only individuals. My diverse career experience lets me take the right approach to cases, large or small, for individuals or businesses.
I will fight for the results my clients want, either by negotiating across a table, or arguing in a courtroom. But I will not promise more than I can deliver, and I make sure my clients know the strengths and weaknesses of their case. Honesty and communication are the keys to client service.
